Systems Engineer

Location: Washington, DC

 

Support true systems engineering functions such as requirements review, alternatives analysis, RMA analyses. Will be part of a small team working on program office systems engineering with regular coordination with second level engineering and logistics. Engineer will be directly responsible for the execution of analyses that determine the future sustainment of surveillance, including the consideration and coordination with future programs

 

Requirements include an ability to identify risks and priorities at an engineering change level, very strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, the flexibility and ability to provide support for a wide-range of engineering and program management functions, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. FAA experience and knowledge of the AMS is a plus.

Optimization

Location: Pomona, NJ

 

Support the FAA with the implementation and optimization of an up coming major system deployment. Responsibilities will include operations analysis of airport surface movement areas, development of user tools, adaptation and configuration management of configuration files for air traffic control systems, development of user interfaces for streamlining the optimization process, documentation and coordination with stakeholders, as well as representation at vendor design meetings.

 

The position may require up to 60% travel. Travel will include frequent trips to Gaithersburg, MD, and various FAA facilities around the US.
